Spirit
A spirit is a normally incorporeal personal being that inhabits the spiritual realm. The term "spirit" encompasses both the immortal spiritual beings and the disembodied souls of the dead.
- Immortal spiritual beings ##
An immortal spiritual being, often shortened to "spiritual being" or "immortal," is a sapient, self-aware, discrete, and self-contained entity that did not originate as a mortal material life-form. Immortal spiritual beings possess finite abilities and have their own independent wills, values, and goals. Examples of spiritual beings include the Grigori, Satanael,
angels, and other entities that formed directly from Motsai.
- Spirits of the dead ##
A spirit of the dead is the spirit of a deceased person. This term encompasses both zilūma and rephaim (rapi'ūma). These
spirits originate as mortal humans and lived on |earth. Upon the death of the physical body, the soul enters Napšānu, the spiritual realm, and persists eternally as a zilu or repha.
