In Satano-Grigorist parlance, a ''nikaru'' (pl. nikarūma) is a person who is not a member of the Grigorist Temple of Satanael.
Grammar
This term is derived from the Ugaritic language, so proper usage follows the Ugaritic rules.
For gender-neutral usage of a word, as well as for plurals referring to mixed-gender groups, Ugaritic defaults to the masculine form. This page uses the masculine singular nikaru and plural nikarūma.
The feminine is nikaratu, and the feminine plural is nikarātu. These should be used only when referring to women and all-female groups respectively.
The dual, which is rarely used, is nikarāmi (masc.) or nikaratāmi (fem.)
Inquirers
An inquirer is a nikaru who is curious about Satano-Grigorism.
Aspirants
An aspirant (called a candidate in version 4.0 of the Satano-Grigorist Pocket Guide) is a nikaru who is actively requesting to join the Grigorist Temple of Satanael. An inquirer becomes an aspirant when their interest shifts from noncommittal curiosity to a genuine desire for conversion to Satano-Grigorism, causing them to request membership and work toward fulfillment of the Temple's membership criteria.
