The Grigorist Temple of Satanael (“GToS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates satanael.org and Grigoripedia. We collect only the information reasonably needed to operate, secure, understand, and improve these services. We do not sell personal information or use visitor data for targeted advertising.

Website Analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how people find and use our website, which pages are useful, and whether our outreach is reaching interested readers.
Matomo
We use a self-hosted installation of Matomo Analytics on satanael.org. Matomo may process information such as pages viewed, approximate visit time, referring pages or websites, browser and device information, and similar technical data. When analytics cookies are enabled with your consent, Matomo may also use first-party cookies to distinguish returning browsers and improve visit and retention statistics.
Because our Matomo installation is hosted on our own website infrastructure, the Matomo analytics database is under our control rather than being hosted by Matomo Cloud. We may configure privacy features such as IP anonymization and honoring browser Do Not Track signals.
Google Analytics
Portions of satanael.org currently use Google Analytics. Google Analytics is operated by Google and may receive technical and usage information when its tracking code is loaded. Google’s handling of that information is governed by Google’s own privacy terms and policies.
Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser. The site may use cookies that are necessary for site functionality, as well as optional analytics cookies where enabled.
Matomo’s optional first-party analytics cookies can help distinguish new and returning visitors, maintain visit continuity, and measure repeated engagement over time. We do not use these cookies for advertising or cross-site behavioral profiling.
Grigoripedia, which is powered by MediaWiki, may also use cookies for ordinary technical functions such as login sessions, preferences, or other features provided by the wiki software.
Server Logs & Security
Like most websites, our hosting environment may automatically create server logs. These logs can contain technical information such as IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, browser or user-agent information, referrers, and error details.

Information You Send Us
If you contact GToS by email, Discord, social media, or another communication channel, we may receive whatever information you choose to provide, such as your email address, account name, message contents, attachments, or other contact details.
We use that information to respond to you, handle the subject of your message, maintain relevant records, prevent abuse, and conduct ordinary Temple or Grigoripedia administration. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for your request.
Third-Party Services & Links
Our site links to third-party services including Discord and social-media platforms. Visiting or interacting with those services may allow the third party to collect information according to its own policies. We do not control the privacy practices of external websites or platforms.
Downloaded files, outbound links, embedded content, or external services may also be subject to the terms and privacy practices of their respective providers.
Sharing & Sale of Data
We do not sell personal information and do not operate an advertising network. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate or secure the site, comply with applicable law or legal process, protect the rights or safety of users or administrators, or work with service providers that support our hosting and website infrastructure.
Retention & Security
We retain information only for as long as it is reasonably useful for the purpose for which it was collected, for site administration or security, or where retention is otherwise appropriate. Different categories of information may be kept for different lengths of time.
We take reasonable measures to protect the systems and accounts we control. No website or online service can guarantee absolute security, however, and users should avoid sending information they would not want transmitted electronically.
